” No goal is ever equal to the time that’s put into them. There’s no equivalent exchange, for a goal has no relative value by itself. It’s an achievement, a marker, a standing stone for progress. Time cannot ever be equally exchanged because time cannot be taken back. There’s no equality in time, for time is just that. A goal post, a current marker, or a standing stone to represent a set number of time being exchanged for the goal it’s attempting to achieve. But there’s no equivalent exchange in that. If there was, putting your entire life into existing, wouldn’t result in death. Time is not the thing you ultimately exchange, it’s the willingness to spend that time. Will is something you can exchange, but you can never exchange time and reasonably expect to get the equivalent exchange in return. “
