“I critique standard education because I care about not being surrounded by idiots. Standardization is fine, but standardization should never be at the cost of intelligence and intelligent decisions. The fact that schools have computer classes where the students are often more knowledgeable about the computers than the professors themselves, is a clear indicator of the failures involved in standardization. The biggest problem with standardization is that by the time the standardized educational institutes get hold of new technology, it’s already outdated.”
